Today EastwoodPower signed an agreement with one of Europe's largest coal-power plants. The agreement is for deliveries of solid biofuels for the first quarter of 2012.
2011.01.16 EastwoodPower announces new date for public offering
Today Eastwoodpower announced a new day for public offering for October 2012. The IPO will raise funds to leverage current investments in logistics, such as vessels and port storage facilities in Russia.
2010.11.15 EastwoodPower includes Sunflower Husk Pellets in product portfolio
In November EastwoodPower added Sunflower Husk Pellets to its portfolio of products. Apart from its present portfolio of Industrial Wood Pellets and high calorific Lignin Pellets the company now also includes Sunflower Husk pellets. The pellets which are sourced from selected manufacturers in Russia and Ukraine, are of high quality and high calorific value to be used for cofiring.
2010.09.10 Test trial for co-firing Lignin succesfull at SSE
A trial test of cofiring lignin with coal proved to be successfull at SSE. Next steps include a full scale test which is being planned to take place in the next couple of months.

2009.10.02 EastwoodPower postpones public offering
EastwoodPower is postponing its proposed public offering of Class A Common Stock, citing poor market conditions as the reason for the decision. Instead the company will continue to increase shareholder value during the next 18 months, and has now set a new target date to be announced during the third quarter of 2011.
2009.08.17 EastwoodPower buys Russian pellet manufacturer
On the 17th of August 2009 EastwoodPower signed a letter of intent to acquire a Russian pellets manufacturing plant. The Russian manufacturing plant will be a cornerstone in EastwoodPowers strategy to become a European leading supplier of wood pellets for the co-firing industrial market.
2009.08.17 EastwoodPower acquires 7 hectares of industrial land in Russia
Today EastwoodPower signed an agreement to acquire 7 hectares of industrial land in Russia. EastwoodPower plans to use this land to build a new pellets plant.
